More showers across the Mediterranean Region

Today
High pressure across Europe will give a large part of Europe a dry day and colder in the east. Some light rain to come across western England today otherwise fair and dry. Dry from France into Belgium, Holland, Denmark into Germany with more cloud in the north and sunnier going south. Very cold across Russia with a few snow flurries. Some rain across the Baltic States with a cold, day across Finland with snow. Dry with sunny spells across Sweden and Norway. A good deal of dry weather prevails across the Balkans today while showers will affect Turkey where they will be mixed with snow. Sunny and dry across Italy into Switzerland and Austria while heavy showers affect the Balearics, Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily and into Cyprus and Crete. Dry and sunnier across Spain and Portugal with a dry day across Greece as well.

It continues to be dry across much of western and central parts of Europe today. This settled dry weather will extend from France, into the Low Countries into Germany and Poland. Rain across southern Sweden extends east across the Baltic States into Belarus with snow across Russia. Settled across western Scandinavia with sunny spells across Norway and northern Sweden. Lots of sunshine to come across the Ukraine into Romania, the former Yugoslavia and Greece. Rain is forecast for eastern parts of Turkey, dry in the west. An area of heavy showers will persist from Sardinia east to Scilly and Cyprus. A fine, dry and sunny day for much of Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Hungry. Outbreaks of rain will affect Portugal and western parts of Spain.
