Gales will affect n Britain with severe gales across Scandinavia into the Baltic Region and much of north east Europe. Mainly dry and sunny today across England. Rain is expected across the far north of France, Belgium, Holland and Denmark with rain across southern Sweden into Poland, the Baltic Region and Belarus. Cold with rain and snow across Russia with snow showers across Norway. Dry and sunnier into the Ukraine, Romania into the former Yugoslavia, Greece, Bulgaria and Turkey. Fine and sunny too across Italy. Continued dry and sunny across the Balearics today and across Spain and Portugal today. Sunny across the Alps into Switzerland and Austria today. Lots of sunshine across Poland today and Germany.

Rain is expected across northern Britain but a dry day to come across England today with strong winds into much of north and eastern parts of Europe. Cold across Scandinavia with sunny spells and a few coastal snow showers. Heavy snow is possible across Russia today with snow showers across The Baltic States into Belarus. With a cell of high pressure over Hungry, it will dominate much of mainland Europe. Much of Europe will also be settled and dry. Expect sunny spells from France across the Low Countries into Germany, Poland into and into the Ukraine into Hungry, Austria and Switzerland. Fine and sunny across the former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey while heavy showers affect an area south of the Balearics. Sunny and dry for Italy ad also across Turkey. A fine day to come for the Balearics and dry, sunny as well come across Spain and Portugal.
