Windy for many as colder air moves south

Friday
A cold and windy day through France with a mix of sunshine and showers. Further rain or showers over northern Spain and Portugal, but the south of Iberia should be staying mainly dry. Through the rest of the Mediterranean it should be a bright day with sunny spells, although a few showers are likely in the Aegean.
Very windy across the Low Countries and Germany with heavy periods of rain here. Windy later in Poland with the rain arriving here as well.
For Denmark it will be a windy day with rain later. Norway and Sweden are likely to be dry with sunny spells. Very mild here.


Saturday
Some cloud and a few showers affecting the south of Spain today. For the rest of Iberia the day will be chilly but bright. There will be sunny spells, just a few showers on northern coasts. France has a day of sunny spells and cool weather with some showers in the north. Staying cold through the Low Countries and Germany as well as Poland with the risk of wintry showers.
Chilly too in the central Mediterranean with a mix of sunshine and showers for Italy. More showers affecting Greece and Turkey, a few of them on the heavy side. Breezy and wet in Bulgaria and Romania with a risk of rain turning to snow.
A windy day to come in the Baltic States with rain and snow here. Breezy in Finland with some wintry conditions here. Sweden will be windy with a threat of snow in the south but Norway should be drier, but still cold.
