Cloud, rain and snow to the north, but fair in the southwest

Sunday
A wet day across England with some rain across Spain today. Sunnier across Portugal with a few isolated showers.
Lots of fine, dry weather to come across all of France, Belgium into Holland and Denmark. Cold across Norway and Sweden with long sunny spells while heavy snow is expected across Finland, Russia and the Baltic States.
High pressure will keep it settled and dry across Poland into Germany, Switzerland into Austria and Hungry. Outbreaks of rain will affect the former Yugoslavia and northern Italy. Fair and dry across southern Italy into Greece and Turkey.


Monday
A fair day through Spain and Portugal with sunny spells here. There will be some showers through the Balearics, and some heavier rain for the north of Italy. Greece and Turkey should be dry with sunny spells.
France is likely to have a fair day, as will the Low Countries. A cold front will be taking rain eastwards through Germany and into Poland. Switzerland and Austria, as well as Hungary should have rain, with snow in the ski resorts.
To the north there will be rain and sleet affecting Norway and Denmark with more persistent sleet and snow in Sweden. The Baltic States will be rather cloudy with some rain and sleet at times.
