Today
Mainly dry across Britain today. A wet day for much of France, Germany into northern Italy with snow over the Alps. Heavy showers will affect southern parts of Italy into Sardinia and Corsica with rain extending into the former Yugoslavia. Expect a few showers around the coasts of Greece and Turkey but overall it looks dry today. Some light rain comes into Hungry and Bulgaria in the afternoon. Lots of dry, sunny weather is forecast across Romania into the Ukraine, Poland, Belarus and the Baltic States. Snow is expected across Norway, Sweden, Finland and eastern Russia. Rain is expected to clear to a few showers for Belgium, The Netherlands and Denmark. A dry but chilly day across Spain and Portugal.

Strong gales will affect much of Europe today. A wet day across England with rain across southern Sweden, northern France, Belgium into Holland, Denmark and Germany while heavy snow falls across Norway and Sweden. A dry day across Sothern France into Spain and the Balearics while rain spreads in across Portugal. A day of sunshine and showers across Italy today with just a few showers across Greece and western Turkey. A fine, dry day across the Alps into Switzerland, Austria and Hungry and this extends into Poland, Romania, The former Yugoslavia and Bulgaria. A few snow showers today across The Baltic Region with snow into western Russia while heavy rain affects the Ukraine.
