Dry across the Balkans
Today
Strong gales will affect much of Europe today. A wet day across England with rain across southern Sweden, northern France, Belgium into Holland, Denmark and Germany while heavy snow falls across Norway and Sweden. A dry day across Sothern France into Spain and the Balearics while rain spreads in across Portugal. A day of sunshine and showers across Italy today with just a few showers across Greece and western Turkey. A fine, dry day across the Alps into Switzerland, Austria and Hungry and this extends into Poland, Romania, The former Yugoslavia and Bulgaria. A few snow showers today across The Baltic Region with snow into western Russia while heavy rain affects the Ukraine.
Wednesday
Another very unsettled and windy day across much of Europe with strong gales expected. Heavy, blustery showers are forecast across Britain, Belgium and Holland into northern France while an area of heavy rain falls across Denmark, Germany and southern France with snow over the Alps. Snow is expected across Norway, northern Sweden and Finland into Russia while rain is expected across Belarus and the Ukraine. Fair and dry across the Baltic States, Poland into Hungry, the former Yugoslavia with sunny skies across Romania into Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey. Just a few showers for northern Italy today, sunnier and dry in the south. Generally cloudy with some patchy rain to come across Spain and Portugal but dry across the Balearics.
