Heavy shower in the Mediterranean

Tuesday
Lots of fine, mild and dry weather to come across western and central parts of Europe today. Dry with sunny spells from Spain into France, England and across into Belgium, Holland, Germany and southern parts of Poland. Some rain to come from Denmark into the far north of Germany into northern Poland which becomes heavier across the Baltic States, Belarus and Russia. Heavy snow showers will affect western parts of Norway but mainly dry with sunny spells for eastern Norway, Sweden and southern Finland. A number of heavy showers will be found near the eastern coast of Spain into the Balearics into Sardinia and Sicily and the far south of Greece. Lots of fine sunny weather will prevail across Italy into much of Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey and north into Romania into the former Yugoslavia and the Ukraine. Dry too into Austria, Switzerland and Hungry.

Wednesday
With high pressure in charge, much of western and central parts of Europe will be staying settled and dry. Mild with sunny spells across England into all of France, The Low countries, Germany into Austria and Hungry. Heavy snow showers will continue across western Norway but dry in the east and across Sweden with sunny spells. Outbreaks of snow will fall across Finland with rain spreading into western parts of Russia, Poland, Belarus and the Baltic States. Fair and dry across the former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey. Just a few showers across Greece today. Mostly sunny and dry across Italy, Portugal and Spain but plenty of heavy showers to come from the Balearics across the southern Mediterranean to Sicily and Crete.
