Cloud and rain in northern Europe, fine and sunny to the south

Wednesday
Today it remains quite hot across Spain and Portugal. Here it will be mostly sunny and dry. Lots of showers, some heavy will affect much of France, England, Belgium, Holland, Denmark and Germany. The far south of France should escape with a dry day. A band of rain will stretch from the Baltic States into parts of Belarus through Poland, where the rain turns heavy across the Czech Republic into Austria. Showers are expected across Russia, these wintry in the north. Fine and dry across the Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria and the Adriatic Region. Lots of sunshine to come across Greece today with a few showers for Turkey. Italy will be dry with sunny spells. Further outbreaks snow are forecast for northern parts of Norway and Sweden with rain for southern Sweden. The southern half of Finland will be dry and sunny while heavy snow showers affect the north.

Thursday
A very warm day over Spain and Portugal. There is the risk of some thundery showers forming in the afternoon. More sunshine and dry weather through the Balearics and Italy. Dry and fine in Greece. Heavy showers and thunderstorms forming in Turkey.
Cloud and some rain in northwest and northern France, but dry and sunny in central and southern areas. Windy with showers in the Low Countries and northern Germany. Fine in Luxemburg and Germany as well as Switzerland and Austria. Sunshine and showers in Poland, some of them heavy.
Cloud and rain in Denmark and southern Norway. More cloud and some rain in Sweden. Unsettled for the Baltic States and Finland with showers and plenty of rain.
