Fine across the Mediterranean

Today
Hot and sunny across Spain and Portugal today. Much of Europe is looking quite unsettled today and very showery. While there'll be some sunny spells, expect plenty of showers, many heavy, stretching from France across England across into Belgium, Holland, Germany into Poland and Belarus along with southern parts of Sweden. Windy but largely dry in the far south of France today. Outbreaks of rain will affect northern Sweden with scattered snow showers across western parts of Norway. Heavy showers will also expect northern parts of Finland and Russia with rain clearing the Baltic States to showers. It looks mostly sunny and dry across much of the Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece. Spells of rain are forecast across the Adriatic region. A few showers to come across Turkey. Northern parts of Italy looks rather cloudy with some showers and some rain with the south mainly dry.

Wednesday
Today it remains quite hot across Spain and Portugal. Here it will be mostly sunny and dry and this extends into southern parts of France, across the Balearics through Corsica, Sardinia, and northern Italy. Still some showers to come across England, the northern half of France and across through the Low Countries into Germany and Austria. An area of showers along with some persistent spells of rain will extend from the Baltic States down into eastern Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, into the Adriatic Region, Romania and Bulgaria. Expect a a few sharp showers across mainland Greece. Heavy showers will also affect southern parts of Italy. The rain looks heaviest across the Adriatic region. Most of Turkey today will be fine and sunny. Just a few wintry showers to come across western parts of Norway and a few scattered rain showers across southern parts of Sweden. Most of Finland should be fair and dry with showers across Russia.
