Fine across the Mediterranean

Today
Today it remains quite hot across Spain and Portugal. Here it will be mostly sunny and dry and this extends into southern parts of France, across the Balearics through Corsica, Sardinia, and northern Italy. Still some showers to come across England, the northern half of France and across through the Low Countries into Germany and Austria. An area of showers along with some persistent spells of rain will extend from the Baltic States down into eastern Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, into the Adriatic Region, Romania and Bulgaria. Expect a a few sharp showers across mainland Greece. Heavy showers will also affect southern parts of Italy. The rain looks heaviest across the Adriatic region. Most of Turkey today will be fine and sunny. Just a few wintry showers to come across western parts of Norway and a few scattered rain showers across southern parts of Sweden. Most of Finland should be fair and dry with showers across Russia. It will be very windy in the Mediterranean today. Very strong easterly winds will also prevail through the Straits of Gibraltar and along the northern coast of Spain.

Lots of fine, dry weather to come across England, France, Belgium, Holland and Denmark. Continues hot and sunny across Spain and Portugal and into the Balearics into Corsica and Sardinia. Scattered showers are forecast for Germany and southern parts of Italy with northern Italy, dry. An area of heavy rain and heavy showers is forecast for the western parts of the Ukraine across into Hungary, the Czech Republic and the Adriatic Region. A few showers and sunny spells to come across Greece. A fine, warm day is expected across Turkey while a few heavy showers are expected for Bulgaria. Most of Romania, the eastern half of the Ukraine and most of Russia should be dry and eastern parts of Poland could see some heavy rain with the west dry. Outbreaks of rain and snow will affect Norway with rain across northern Sweden with the south dry. Apart from the odd shower, much of Finland should be fair and dry. It remains quite windy across the northern coast of Spain across southern France into the central Mediterranean.
