Fine across the Balkans

Today
Expect heavy showers across the far north of Spain, otherwise much of Spain be fine and dry in this fine weather extends across the Balearics into Corsica, Sardinia, Italy, the Adriatic Region, Greece and Turkey. Lots of sunshine to is expected across Bulgaria up into Romania, Hungary, the Ukraine and Belarus. Frequent and heavy showers with the risk of thunderstorms are forecast for southern half of France across the Alps into Austria and the Czech Republic. Most of Germany, Belgium, Holland, Denmark and England looks to have a fine, dry day with sunny spells. Very showery across much of Scandinavia today and some of the showers will be heavy with the risk of thunder. Much of Poland should be fair and dry but in the afternoon a few showers develop across eastern Poland and also across the Baltic States and Russia where they will become heavy with the risk of thunder. It remains quite windy through the Straits of Gibraltar and also across the eastern Mediterranean. It will be much warmer across much of Europe today.

Very warm and dry with sunny spells across England, northern France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. Some heavy, possibly thundery showers will develop across Portugal, Spain and the western half of France and also across the Alps. Warm and sunny weather is expected from the Balearics across into Sardinia, Italy, into the Adriatic Region, Greece and Turkey. Dry and sunny as well across Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary and most of Romania and Bulgaria. An area of heavy showers and persistent rain may affect parts of the Baltic States, Belarus and western parts of the Ukraine. Eastern parts of the Ukraine along with Russia should be dry. It remains quite showery with some heavy showers are risk of thunderstorms across Norway, Sweden and Finland. It looks quite windy across central eastern half of the Mediterranean today.
