Thundery central and southern Europe

Friday
Fair through Spain and Portugal today. Sunshine too for the Balearics, but some heavy showers in northern Italy. Central and southern Italy will be dry with good spells of sunshine. Staying dry across Greece, although breezy in Turkey but dry.
Heavy thundery showers affecting much of central and western France, with thunderstorms for Switzerland too. Fair with sunshine in the Low Countries and Germany as well as Poland.
A fine day for Denmark with sunny spells, and staying fair across Sweden. Plenty of sunshine for Norway, although a few showers in the north. Plenty of sunshine for the Baltic States with heavy showers across Finland.

Saturday
A fine day across Spain and Portugal with good spells of warm summer sunshine. A fine day for the Balearics and for Italy too. More sunshine to come in Greece and Turkey and staying dry here.
Cloud and some rain for the north and west of France as well as the Low Countries. Heavy showers across Germany and these slipping into western Poland later. Some heavy showers to come across Switzerland and Austria as well as Hungary.
Heavy showers in the UK, and some heavy showers for Denmark too. Rain or showers in western Norway but dry for most of the country. Sunny spells and scattered showers in Norway, but fine in the Baltic States and Finland.
