Heavy thunderstorms in the west but dry and sunny to the east

Saturday
Some heavy thunderstorms affecting much of Portugal and western Spain today. Fair in more eastern and southern areas. Some high cloud for the Balearics, with plenty of sunshine to come in Italy and Greece. heavy, thundery showers for Turkey.
There will be thundery showers in central and western parts of France too. A few showers breaking out later in the Low Countries but for most of Germany and Poland the day is fine and sunny. More sunshine in Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland.
A fine day to come in Denmark with lots of sunshine here. More sunshine in the Baltic States, a few showers for Finland. Norway should be dry with lots of sunshine here.

Sunday
Some heavy showers affecting the north of Spain today. More southern areas will be drier and brighter with some hot sunshine. An odd shower to come in the Balearics, with some heavy thundery showers for Corsica and Sardinia. A few showers affecting Italy, but Greece and Turkey should be dry with sunshine here.
Heavy thundery showers across France and the Low Countries, some of these torrential. Germany should be dry and hot. Thundery showers in Hungary, Austria and Switzerland and again these will be heavy.
Fair in Denmark with sunny spells. Heavy thunderstorms for the Baltic States and Finland. fair for Sweden with sunny spells here. Some good spells of sunshine for Norway too.
