Fine and Dry across Central and Eastern Europe

Today
Expect sunny spells and showers across England. Largely dry across northern France, Belgium and Holland but rather cloudy. Spells of rain are expected across southern France into central parts of Spain with a dry day across Portugal. Spells of rain are forecast for Norway and Sweden and this will be heavy across Finland, the Baltic States and northern Russia. Lots of dry weather to come across Eastern Europe as high pressure dominates. It should be dry across the Ukraine, Belarus, most of Poland, most of Germany and also across the Adriatic Region and the Balkans as well as Turkey. Lots of fine, dry, sunny weather is expected across most of Italy except for a few showers in the far north.

Cool with scattered showers across England today. Fair and dry across Belgium and Holland. Apart from some rain in the far southeast of France, much of France should be dry with sunny spells. Some patchy light rain to come across Portugal and western Spain with central and eastern areas of Spain and the Balearics having a dry day. It will be a cloudy day with outbreaks of rain across Denmark through Germany with heavy rain forecast for Switzerland. A few heavy showers are expected in the far north of Italy. Most of central and southern parts of Italy along with the Adriatic Region and all of the Balkans will have a settled and dry day with good spells of sunshine. Some rain to come for northern parts of Russia. The rest of Russia along with the Baltic States, Belarus, Poland, the Ukraine and most of Turkey should be dry today with sunny spells. Showers are in the forecast across Finland with Sweden and Norway dry.
