Rain, showers SE Europe, eastern Mediterranean
Today
Rather cold across eastern Europe with the warmest weather today across southern parts of Spain with temperatures in the high twenties. With high pressure controlling much of the weather, most of Europe is looking fair, settled and dry. It will be very windy across northern Europe with a good deal of cloud northern parts of Poland and northern France. Largely dry across Norway while some rain is forecast for Sweden, Denmark and Finland. Good sunny spells to come across Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and the Adriatic Region into Hungary, the Ukraine and Russia. The weather looks cloud and windy with rain across The Black Sea area and lots of showers, some heavy across western Turkey and in the eastern Mediterranean.
Monday
Not a great deal of change to come on Monday. Lots of dry, sunny weather to come from Portugal across Spain into France, The Low Countries into Germany, Poland into eastern Europe. Rain is expected across Norway, Sweden and Finland as well as the Baltic States. Dry as well across the Adriatic Region and the Balkans. A number of showers to come from near Sardinia towards Scilly to Crete with heavy rain and showers across western Turkey. Mainly dry across eastern Turkey and fine across Italy. It remains windy across the Black Sea and down into the Aegean as well as across the Irish Sea through Scandinavia and the Baltic Region.
