Heavy showers and rain in the Mediterranean and western France, cooler in Scandinavia

Tuesday
Heavy spells of rain to come across Britain, western France and Spain with heavy showers across Portugal. Expect a good deal of dry weather across eastern France through the Low Countries into Poland, Belarus and Russia.
A cold but sunny day across Norway with rain expected across Sweden, Finland and The Baltic States. It continues dry across the Adriatic Region and the Balkans with sunny skies across Turkey and the Ukraine. Very unsettled in the central Mediterranean with heavy rain and heavy showers across northern Italy into Sardinia. A few showers to affect southern parts of Italy. Quite a windy day through western and central parts of the Mediterranean.

Wednesday
Heavy showers over most of Portugal and Spain on Wednesday. Further heavy showers for the Balearics. A cloudy day with periods of rain in Italy, the heaviest in the north. Greece should be mostly dry with sunny spells, and it will be remaining dry with further sunshine in Turkey.
Heavy showers in western and southern parts of France. Rain in northeastern France, but drier between these areas. The Low Countries will have cloud and some outbreaks of rain. Heavy showers for Germany, most in the south. Brighter in Poland with dry weather here. Heavy rain may affect Switzerland, Austria and Hungary.
Cloud and some drizzle for Denmark. The Low Countries stay cloudy with some more drizzle here. Finland is likely to be cold but dry, and it will be dry too in much of Sweden and Norway.
