Rain or showers in west, fair and warm east
Tuesday
Very windy in the western Mediterranean today with westerly gales through the Straits of Gibraltar. An area of heavy rain will affect Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Holland, western parts of Germany into central and southern France and across eastern Spain. A few showers to come across England, northern France and Portugal. Cold across Norway with snow.
Cloudy but a dry day across eastern parts of Germany. Rain is forecast across Switzerland with snow on the high elevations. Much of Italy, The Adriatic Region and the Balkans will be dry with sunny spells. Mostly sunny and dry as well across Romania, The Ukraine, Belarus, The Baltic States and western Russia. Heavy showers are expected around the Balearics.
Wednesday
A cool day through Iberia with a few showers in northern Spain. Most other areas will be dry with sunny spells. Some heavy showers affecting the Balearics, with further showers or rain in much of Italy. Greece should be dry and warm with good spells of sunshine, and staying fine across Turkey.
Some showers in northern and western France, but cloud and rain in Germany and Poland. More rain for Austria and Switzerland, this perhaps affecting Hungary too. Rain in these central parts of Europe may become very heavy.
Cloud and rain east of Denmark, some showers in the west, Cloud and rain in the south of Sweden but brighter in the Baltic States where it should be dry. Brighter in Finland with sunny spells here. Fair for much of the rest of Sweden and Norway with sunny spells.
