Getting better in the Mediterranean, drier and colder Scandinavia
Thursday
Cloud and rain affecting Portugal and western Spain. More eastern and southern areas should be dry with hazy sunshine. Fair in the Balearics. Heavy showers or longer spells of rain in Italy. Greece and western Turkey will have heavy showers or longer spells of rain. More central and eastern parts of Turkey will be bright and dry with sunny spells.
Cloud and rain in the far west of France with stronger winds here. The rest of France is dry with sunny spells. Staying dry with more sunshine in the Low Countries. Cloud and outbreaks of rain across the west of Poland, but fair to the east. More cloud in western Hungary and parts of Austria with a few showers here. Sunny spells and dry in Switzerland.
Cloud and rain through Denmark. Fair for the Baltic States and Finland and dry here too. Bright and dry in southern Sweden, but fair to the north. Cloud and outbreaks of rain in the far south of Norway but fair in the north and dry here.
Friday
Cloud and bands of rain cross northern and western parts of Iberia today. Southern Spain should be dry with sunny spells. A few showers in the Balearics. Fair in Italy with some sunny spells here. Heavy showers in Greece and these affecting Turkey too.
More rain across most of France, with the heaviest of it in the west. The Low Countries should be dry with sunny spells. Fair in Germany with some sunshine to come here, and staying dry through Poland too with more spells of sunshine. Hungary and Austria will have sunny spells, and it should be remaining dry in Switzerland.
High pressure over Finland brings dry but breezy and cooler weather into Denmark. Dry too in the Baltic States and Finland. Staying dry across Sweden and Norway should enjoy the benefits of the dry weather too.
