Becoming more unsettled in the Mediterranean, cold in northern Europe
Thursday
Showers and some cloud across southern Spain today, with some sunshine and mainly dry weather in Portugal. Heavy showers affecting eastern Spain and the Balearics, with some fo these heavy showers troubling south coasts of France. Mainly fair in much of Italy, but some showers in the northwest. Dry for Greece with sunny spells, but some heavy showers over western Turkey.
Some showers and cloud in northwest France, but dry for the rest of the country, although chilly. Cold for the Low Countries, Germany and Poland with largely dry weather here. Some snow flurries in Austria and Hungary as well as southwest England.
Dry and cold again through Denmark and Norway as well as most of Sweden. The Baltic States will be staying cold but mostly dry. Some cloud in Finland where it is going to cold once again too.
Friday
Heavy showers again affecting the east of Spain and into the Balearics today. Drier for southern Spain with some sunny spells here. Heavy showers abd some thunderstorms for Portugal. Further heavy showers affecting Italy where some will be thundery. Showers too for western Greece but fair to the east. Fine for Turkey with more sunshine to come here.
Cloud and some rain in northwestern France, but fair for most of the country with some sunny spells, apart fro some showers in the far south. Showers too for the Low Countries, but fair through Germany and Poland with sunny spells here. Some sunshine too in Austria and Hungary.
Cloud and some rain in western Denmark but dry in the east. Fair weather through the Baltic States with sunny spells here. Dry in Finland and staying cold, the cold weather persisting in Sweden and Norway. Mostly fair across Norway with sunny spells.
