Windy, heavy showers in the Mediterranean

Today
Rain clears England, Belgium and Holland to sunny skies. An area of rain will affect Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and northern and central parts of France, dry across the south of France but very windy. Snow showers will affect western parts of Norway with snow across northern Finland and northern Russia. Cold and windy with light snow across the Baltic States. Cloudy and cold across Poland and Belarus with snow flurries and a risk of freezing rain. Snow is forecast across Austria with rain expected across the Adriatic Region and much of the Balkans into western parts of Turkey. Occasional showers to come across Italy with frequent, heavy, squally showers across much of the Mediterranean and it will be quite windy from the Balearics to Sardinia. A dry day with sunny spells from the Balearics into Spain and Portugal.

Sunny and cold across much of Britain today. Much of France looks wet with spells of rain. Outbreaks of rain are also expected across Belgium and Holland with showers for Denmark. Snow showers will affect western parts of Norway with sunny spells in the east and across Sweden. Heavy rain and snow is forecast across Finland, The Baltic States into Poland with a dry day across Germany. Snow is expected across the Alps into Austria with rain for the Adriatic Region. Heavy rain and showers is forecast across Greece and Bulgaria and Romania with much of Turkey dry. Snow is likely across the Ukraine and Russia. Most of Italy looks dry with sunny spells. Further heavy showers are likely from Sardinia to Crete. It continues settled, dry and mostly sunny across Spain and Portugal. Another windy day from the south of France into the central Mediterranean.
