Snow across the Balkans

Today
Sunny and cold across much of Britain today. Much of France looks wet with spells of rain. Outbreaks of rain are also expected across Belgium and Holland with showers for Denmark. Snow showers will affect western parts of Norway with sunny spells in the east and across Sweden. Heavy rain and snow is forecast across Finland, The Baltic States into Poland with a dry day across Germany. Snow is expected across the Alps into Austria with rain for the Adriatic Region. Heavy rain and showers is forecast across Greece and Bulgaria and Romania with much of Turkey dry. Snow is likely across the Ukraine and Russia. Most of Italy looks dry with sunny spells. Further heavy showers are likely from Sardinia to Crete. It continues settled, dry and mostly sunny across Spain and Portugal. Another windy day from the south of France into the central Mediterranean.

Tuesday
A cold day across much of Europe. Rain and gales develops across Britain today. Expect a good deal of dry weather across France, Belgium, Holland and Denmark with a few coastal showers. Most of Spain and Portugal will have a dry day with sunny spells but a few rain and snow showers may affect northern Spain. Frequent heavy showers and longer spells of rain are likely from the Balearics eastward into Corsica and Sardinia with a scattering of showers across the eastern Mediterranean. A lot of cloud across Italy with a few showers in the south. Cold with snow flurries across the Adriatic Region. Wet across Greece with rain while rain, sleet and snow is expected across Bulgaria and Romania. Cloudy with rain for Turkey. Cold, cloudy but dry across Germany, Poland and the Baltic States with snow forecast across Russia. A cold day across Scandinavia but dry. Very windy conditions are expected across eastern Spain and across southern France and much of the Mediterranean.
