Gales to the north with colder weather here, drier and milder to the south
Thursday
Showers affecting northern Spain on Thursday. Dry for most of Spain and Portugal with good spells of sunshine. Dry with sunny spels in the Balearics. Heavy showers in the far south of Italy but mostly dry for much of the country. Heavy showers or longer periods of rain over Greece and perhaps the far west of Turkey. Most of the rest of Turkey will be dry with sunny spells.
Scattered showers over the far south of France on Thursday with a few showers in the far north. Dry for the rest of France with sunny spells. Heavy showers and strong winds to come in the Low Countries, dry and breezy with sunny spells for Germany. Some patchy rain in the far north of Poland, dry to the south. Austria, Hungary and Switzerland will be rather cloudy with some patchy rain.
Gales in Denmark with sunny spells. Windy in the Baltic States and Finland with some snow showers here. Dry with sunny spells for Norway, heavy snow showers and strong wind in Norway.
Friday
Fair for Spain and Portugal with plenty of sunshine, although a few showers int he far northwest of Spain. Dry for Italy with good spells of sunshine here. Low pressure brings heavy showers to Greece and the risk of some thundery showers and rain in Turkey.
Gales troubling central and northern France as well as the Low Countries. Severe gales for much of Germany and Poland with cloud and rain across these areas too. Drier for southern France and Switzerland, as well as Hungary and Austria.
Low pressure gives a wet and windy day for Denmark. The wind and rain spreading into Denmark and southern Seden. Fair for Finland and dry here. Fair in northern Sweden and Norway.
