Strong Winds, Heavy Showers for Mediterranean

Today
A very wintry day to come across eastern parts of Europe with outbreaks of snow forecast across Russia, The Baltic States, The Ukraine, The Czech Republic into Austria and Romania. Light snow clears from the Adriatic Region. Expect a mixture of rain and snow across Bulgaria. Most of Turkey and Greece should be dry in the main with showers to affect the eastern Mediterranean. Much of the Mediterranean will be quite windy today. Fair and dry across Italy with lots of dry, sunny weather for Spain and Portugal. Light rain is expected across southern France with northern France, England, Belgium, Holland and Denmark dry and sunny. Snow is forecast across western Norway with eastern parts of Norway, Sweden and Finland to have a fair, dry day. Most of Germany should also be dry.


Monday
Further falls of snow are likely across Austria, The Czech Republic, The Adriatic Region, Romania, Hungary, The Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and the Baltic States. Wintry too across Turkey with heavy snow to come. Most of Greece may stay dry bit frequent, heavy showers to affect the Greek Isles and the eastern half of the Mediterranean where it will stay very windy. Cold across Poland with a few wintry showers. A cold but dry day across Norway, Sweden and Finland with sunny skies. Lots of dry weather to come from Portugal into Spain, France, England and across into the Low Countries, Denmark and Germany.
