Very Windy and Very Showery in the Mediterranean
Today
Cold but largely dry across England and northern France. Outbreaks of snow will affect central France, southern Germany and Austria. Showers of rain and snow are forecast for Belgium, Holland and Denmark with more persistent and heavy snow again likely to affect Norway, Sweden, the Baltic States and Finland. Expect a mix of rain and snow across southern parts of Russia with rain expected to persist across eastern parts of the Ukraine down through western parts of Turkey. Cold across the Adriatic Region with outbreaks of snow with further heavy showers expected across Greece, southern Italy and westward to the Balearics. Outbreaks of heavy rain preceded by snow spread in across Portugal and western Spain with eastern Spain largely dry. Northern parts of Germany along with much of Poland, the Czech Republic and Belarus should be dry. Along with those heavy showers, much of the Mediterranean will stay quite windy.

Cold but dry across Norway. Outbreaks of snow will affect southern parts of Sweden and Finland. Snow showers are expected across northern France and around the coasts of Belgium and Holland with snow across Denmark and northern Poland. Most Germany, southern Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic look cold but dry. Dry as well across the Baltic States with snow across Belarus and central Russia. Largely dry across the Adriatic Region today. Cold across Italy with rain and snow. Showers will affect western parts of Turkey with a few wintry showers for Greece. Frequent, heavy showers and strong winds will persist across much of the Mediterranean. Outbreaks of snow are expected across southern France into the Alpine Region. Cold across Iberia with rain for Portugal and rain and snow across Spain.
