Cold for most of Europe, unsettled in the south
Tuesday
Cold but dry across Norway. Outbreaks of snow will affect southern parts of Sweden and Finland. Snow showers are expected across northern France and around the coasts of Belgium and Holland with snow across Denmark and northern Poland.
Most Germany, southern Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic look cold but dry. Dry as well across the Baltic States with snow across Belarus and central Russia. Largely dry across the Adriatic Region today. Cold across Italy with rain and snow. Showers will affect western parts of Turkey with a few wintry showers for Greece.
Frequent, heavy showers and strong winds will persist across much of the Mediterranean. Outbreaks of snow are expected across southern France into the Alpine Region. Cold across Iberia with rain for Portugal and rain and snow across Spain.
Wednesday
A cold and unsettled day in Spain and Portugal. Snow showers affecting the hills, some more persistent rain in eastern and southern areas. Wintry showers in the Balearics and unsettled in Italy with cloud and periods of rain, but some snow in the far north. Showery rain in Greece, cloud and some outbreaks of rain across Turkey.
Cold with snow showers or even longer spells of snow affecting southern France. More northern areas will be cool, perhaps with some wintry showers. Further wintry showers over the Low Countries. Germany will be chilly and mostly dry. Some snow showers in northern POland, cloud with sleet and snow over Austria and Switzerland as well as Hungary.
Some snow showers over Denmark. Sweden will have some heavy snow showers, but drier in the Baltic States as well as Finland. Norway will be chilly but dry.
