Dry but quite breezy for Portugal and northern Spain. Scattered bursts of rain in the south of Spain. An easterly breeze affects the Mediterranean, and there will be further clusters of thunderstorms, most widespread for the south of Sardinia and Sicily. Breezy and feeling chilly for Greece and the Greek islands. Cold weather also affects Turkey with widespread snow, heaviest toward the east. A few showers for Cyprus. High pressure brings extensive fine weather to France, most of Italy and across central and eastern Europe. Areas of low cloud and fog may linger, but sunshine should break through for countries including Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland. Windy across Scandinavia, with further heavy snow in western Norway, or rain at low levels. Patchy rain for Sweden and northern Denmark. Mostly dry and cool for Finland.

Dry for Spain and Portugal with variable cloud and light winds. Scattered thundery showers in the Mediterranean, but mostly toward north Africa. Dry with sunshine for Italy, Switzerland, Austria and the Balkan States. Bright but staying cool for Greece. Cold again for Turkey, with further outbreaks of snow. Chilly and unsettled for Cyprus. Fairly cloudy across northern France, with rain encroaching onto areas near the English Channel. Brighter toward the south. A little drizzle for Belgium and the Netherlands. Dry for Germany and most of eastern Europe. A little patchy sleet and rain for the Baltic States. Remaining windy for Scandinavia, with some rain for Denmark. Further heavy rain for western Norway and snow for the mountains. Quite mild and dry, but cloudy for Sweden. Spots of rain in Finland.
