Unsettled central and eastern Mediterranean, more rain in France

Wednesday
A fair day for much of Portugal and southern Spain. There will be cloud and rain in northern Spain, showers affecting eastern areas. Further showers in the Balearics. Low pressure brings cloud and rain over Italy. Heavy showers for Greece. Rain and showers in Turkey.
Cloud and rain in France, heaviest in the west. Scattered showers in the Low Countries. Dry for Germany and Poland. Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland will be mostly dry with sunny spells.
Fair across Denmark with sunny spells here. Broken cloud in the Baltic States, but some sleet and snow showers for Finland. Brighter in Sweden with a few showers. Further snow showers affecting Norway where some of them will be heavy at times.

Thursday
Broken cloud and some sunny spells through Portugal and Spain today. A few showers persisting in eastern Spain and the Balearics. Cloud and rain in central and southern parts of Italy, but drier to the north. Heavy showers in Greece, some of them thundery. Cloud and some drizzle in western Turkey, but drier to the east.
Cloud and rain or drizzle in western and northern France. Rain too in the Low Countries and breezy here. Germany sees rain in the west, but drier to the east, Poland will be dry with some sunny spells. Staying dry in Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland.
Cloud and rain as well as stronger winds in Norway and Denmark. Sweden will be dry with sunny spells and brisk winds. Bright and dry for the Baltic States and this bright weather extends to Finland too.
