Wet across Italy
Today
Colder across Britain today with snow showers in the north. Heavy snow is expected across Norway and Sweden while heavy rain is forecast from Denmark into Germany, The Low Counties into France, northern Spain and Portugal. A dry day to come across southern Spain across to Sardinia and northern Italy. Further rain is expected across southern Italy into Greece, The Adriatic Region and much of the Balkans into western parts of Turkey where it will be quite heavy. Outbreaks of snow are likely across Finland and northern Russia with rain into the Ukraine and the Czech Republic. Fine and dry across Poland. Heavy showers and rain will affect the central and eastern Mediterranean. Strong westerly winds will prevail through the Straits of Gibraltar and it remains very windy through out the Mediterranean.

Cold and windy with a few showers across Britain today. Lots of showers to come across France, Belgium and Holland today. Snow is expected across parts of Norway, Sweden and Denmark with heavy snow forecast across Finland. Outbreaks of rain to come across the Baltic States, Belarus, Austria, The Czech Republic and across The Adriatic Region and The Balkans. Another wet day to come across Italy with heavy spells of rain. Very windy throughout the Mediterranean with frequent, heavy showers and longer spells of rain. Strong gales to affect southern France. Western parts of Turkey will see spells of heavy rain with the east dry except for a few snow flurries. Fair and dry across Poland and much of Germany. Showers may affect Portugal with much of Spain dry.
