Cold, wet across Iberia

Today
Quite chilly conditions across much of Europe including Iberia today. A number of showers will affect Spain and Portugal. Lots of heavy showers too will affect the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia with heavy rain across Italy into Greece. Heavy snow is expected across the Alps. Showers will run in across southern France. Northern France, England, Holland, Belgium and Denmark will be dry with sunny spells. Lots of dry, sunny weather to come across Poland. Cold across eastern Europe with snow expected across Russia, Finland and the Ukraine. Much of the Adriatic Region and the rest of the Balkans will be fair and dry while showers are expected across Greece. Fine and dry today across much of Turkey. Some rain, sleet and snow to come across Norway with a dry day expected across Sweden Very windy across the central Mediterranean.

Monday
It remains quite chilly today across Europe. Heavy rain and heavy showers to affect Portugal and Spain. For England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany it will be fair and dry with sunny spells. Lots of sunshine too to come eastward into Poland, Belarus and the Ukraine. An area of heavy snow is forecast for Finland, northern Russia and the Baltic States. More rain is expected across southern parts of Italy with a number of heavy showers across Greece into Bulgaria and western parts of Turkey. A dry day to come for northern parts of Italy and eastern Turkey. The Adriatic Region and most of the Balkans will remain fair and dry. Cold but a dry day is expected across Norway and Sweden.
