Chilly across Europe
Today
It remains quite chilly today across Europe. Heavy rain and heavy showers to affect Portugal and Spain. For England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany it will be fair and dry with sunny spells. Lots of sunshine too to come eastward into Poland, Belarus and the Ukraine. An area of heavy snow is forecast for Finland, northern Russia and the Baltic States. More rain is expected across southern parts of Italy with a number of heavy showers across Greece into Bulgaria and western parts of Turkey. A dry day to come for northern parts of Italy and eastern Turkey. The Adriatic Region and most of the Balkans will remain fair and dry. Cold but a dry day is expected across Norway and Sweden.
Tuesday
The cool theme continues across Europe. Lots of heavy showers to come across Britain with an area of rain across Denmark, Belgium, Holland and France. High pressure dominates much of central and eastern Europe with plenty of dry weather from Germany east across Poland, Belarus, The Ukraine, The Czech Republic, Austria and Hungry. Scattered showers develop over the Adriatic Region. Mainly dry across Greece, Bulgaria and Romania. Snow is expected across eastern parts of Turkey with showers in the west. Much of Italy should be dry today but heavy rain to affect eastern Spain across into the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Mainly dry across western Spain and Portugal. Rain is expected across the Baltic States with snow for northern Russia and Finland. A dry day to come for Sweden and Norway. Quite windy across the Mediterranean.
