Unsettled across much of southern and central Europe


Thursday
A chilly but fair day in the east and south of Spain today. Rain affecting northern areas, as well as Portugal. It stays chilly across the Balearics with a risk of some showers here. Heavy showers affecting southern Spain and Greece. Turkey should be dry with sunny spells.
Rain for northern and western France, but drier and brighter in the east and south. Rain arriving in the Low Countries too with further spells of rain and showers in Germany. Poland should be dry with sunny spells here. Rain and showers to come across Austria, Switzerland and Hungary too.
Further cloud and rain for Denmark with some heavy rain affecting southern Norway and southern Sweden. Windy through the Baltic States and Finland as well as central and northern Sweden but dry here with sunny spells.

Friday
Fair in Portugal and most of Spain with good spells of sunshine here. There will be some cloud and drizzle in the far north of Spain, this reaching western France. Cool in the Balearics with some sunny spells here too. More unsettled across Corsica, Sardinia and Italy with heavy showers here. Further heavy showers and a risk of thunderstorms in Greece as well as the south and west of Turkey.
France has rain in the far west but most other areas will be dry with sunny spells. A dry day in the Low countries with some sunny spells here. A band of cloud and showery rain passing east through Germany. The risk of sunny spells in Poland. Patchy rain in Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland.
Cloud and some rain affecting western Norway and Denmark. Sunny spells and heavy showers across Norway and the Baltic States. Windy across Finland with the risk of some snow.
