Warm, sunny and dry for Spain and Portugal on Wednesday, highest temperatures in the Algarve and Andalucia regions. Fair conditions extend across the western Mediterranean, with a good deal of sunshine for Italy. Heavy slow moving and thundery showers for mainland Greece, although the Greek Islands will be brighter. Bands of showers across Turkey and Cyprus. A dry day for most of France and Belgium, with variable cloud and sunny spells. Clusters of showers for Austria, although Switzerland will be dry on the whole. Sunshine for Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands. Partly cloudy for Poland and the Baltic States. High pressure brings dry, bright and cool conditions across most of Scandinavia.

Another dry and warm day across Iberia, with sunshine for Spain. Clouds may thicken later for Portugal with a risk of a little rain in the north-west. France, the western Mediterranean and Italy will remain largely dry and sunny. Dry too in the western Alps, a few showers for Austria. Showers toward the south of Italy and Sicily. Continued thundery showers for Greece. Turkey will be unsettled with heavy rain and mountain snow, particularly toward the east. Cool and unsettled for the Balkan states and eastern Europe, with outbreaks of rain and snow for Bulgaria and Romania. High pressure continues to reside over Scandinavia, bringing dry conditions to northern Europe, including Germany and Denmark. Windy in the far north of Norway, with snow showers.
