An unsettled and cool Mediterranean, showers central and northern Europe
Tuesday
The cool theme continues across Europe. Lots of heavy showers to come across Britain with an area of rain across Denmark, Belgium, Holland and France. High pressure dominates much of central and eastern Europe with plenty of dry weather from Germany east across Poland, Belarus, The Ukraine, The Czech Republic, Austria and Hungry. Scattered showers develop over the Adriatic Region. Mainly dry across Greece, Bulgaria and Romania. Snow is expected across eastern parts of Turkey with showers in the west. Much of Italy should be dry today but heavy rain to affect eastern Spain across into the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Mainly dry across western Spain and Portugal. Rain is expected across the Baltic States with snow for northern Russia and Finland. A dry day to come for Sweden and Norway. Quite windy across the Mediterranean.
Wednesday
Cloud, rain and cold weather affecting the north and eastern of Spain today. Chilly in Portugal but mostly dry here. Staying cold and unsettled in the Balearics and through Italy as well. Greece stays cloudy and damp with more rain here. Turkey should be dry with some sunny spells.
Cloud and rain in central, southern and eastern France, but dry in the west. Some showers in the Low Countries and Germany. Further showers in Poland but cloud and rain through Austria, Hungary and Switzerland.
Cloud and showers for Denmark, some of them heavy. Further showers to come across the Baltic States and a few in Finland too. Rather cloudy for Sweden and Norway but mostly dry here.
