Better than recently in the Mediterranean, rain in northern Europe
Saturday
Fair for most of Spain and Portugal today, plenty of sunshine in the east and south. Cool through the Balearics but dry. Some heavy showers in southern and eastern Italy, but drier to the north and west. Heavy showers and thunderstorms for Greece and Turkey as well as Crete and Cyprus.
Cloud and outbreaks of rain in France and the Low Countries. Germany should be dry with some sunny spells, whilst western Poland is dry, but wet in the east. Austria and Hungary will be rather cloudy with some outbreaks of rain. Drier in Switzerland with sunny spells here.
Fair for Denmark with sunny spells throughout the day. Rain and strong winds reaching western Norway later. Sunny and dry in Sweden, although by contrast it will be chilly and wet in the Baltic States and Finland.

Scattered showers in northern Spain. Generally fair across the rest of Spain and Portugal with good spells of sunshine. Further sunshine and dry in the Balearics and Italy. Sunshine and dry in Greece, but some heavy showers to come across Turkey.
Rain and wind in northern France but drier to the south. Cloud, wind and rain across the Low Countries and northern Germany as well as Poland. Broken cloud for Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland.
Further rain over southern Sweden and Norway as well as Denmark. Staying cloudy and wet for the Baltic States, with some lightr rain to come in Finland.
