Hot and dry in eastern and southern Europe, rain to the north
Wednesday
Fine for much of Portugal and Spain with good spells of sunshine and feeling very warm too. A fair day across the Balearics and much of Italy, although showers could be heavy in the south. Sunshine and very warm still in Greece and Turkey.
Cloud and rain in northern and western France, but sunny spells and dry elsewhere. More rain for the Low Countries, but dry with sunny spells across Germany. Poland should be dry too with lots of sunshine. Austria, Hungary and Switzerland remain dry with further spells of sunshine.
Cloud and rain in much of southern and western Norway. Dry and fair in Denmark with more sunshine. Mostly dry for the Baltic States with sunny spells here. Cloudier with some showery bursts of rain in Finland. Staying dry with some sunshine in Sweden.
Thursday
Rain affects the northwest of Spain on Thursday, whilst much of Portugal and the rest of Spain stay dry and sunny. The Balearics should have a fine day too with lots of sunshine. More sunshine to come in Italy, just a few showers here and there. Greece should be dry with sunny spells and staying fine across Turkey too.
Heavy rain affects the north and west of France, but eastern and southern areas should be dry. Rain reaching the Low Countries, although dry in Germany with sunny spells here. Hot and sunny for Poland as well as Hungary, Switzerland and Austria.
Sunshine and showers across Denmark, but fine and sunny in the baltic States. Sunny spells and scattered showers for Finland. A wet and windy day in Sweden with rain here, heavy showers affecting Norway.
