Hot to the south but scattered thundery showers in central Europe

Thursday
Another fair day across Spain and Portugal with lots of sunshine. Staying fine through the Balearics and into Italy, although some thunderstorms forming across Greece and Turkey.
A few thundery showers may develop in central France, but for most of the country the day should be fine with lots of sunshine. Broken cloud in the Low Countries and Germany, although some brightness here as well. Dry with good spells of sunshine for Poland, these extending into Hungary and Austria. Just a few showers affecting Switzerland.
Cloud and some rain in Denmark and western Norway, but lots of sunshine in Sweden and the north of Norway too. Heavy showers affecting the baltic States and Finland, some of them thundery.

Friday
Rather cloudy over western parts of Portugal and the northwest of Spain today. Dry for most of Spain, but some heavy showers in the southeast. Fair in the Balearics with sunny spells here. More sunshine to come in Italy and generally dry apart from an afternoon shower inland. Hot for Greece and Turkey with plenty of sunshine, but again with the risk of a thunderstorm.
Plenty of cloud in the western and northern parts of France. Showery bursts of rain developing here. Eastern areas should be dry, as will the south with more sunshine to come here. Cloud and some showers for the Low Countries, but dry with lots of sunshine in Germany and Poland. Austria, Hungary and Austria will all be dry with more sunshine.
Outbreaks of shower rain in southern Norway and through Denmark. The Baltic States will be dry with sunny spells. Staying fair in Finland with more sunshine here too. Drier and brighter in northern Sweden and the north of Norway.
