Hot east and south, heavy rain in central Europe Friday

Showers or longer spells of rain in the far north of Spain. Elsewhere in Spain and Portugal the day will be dry with sunny spells. More sunshine through the Balearics and Italy, although a few showers to the south. Scattered showers in Greece, but fine and sunny for Turkey.
Heavy and thundery rain affecting much of France. Breezy in the Low Countries but dry with sunny spells. Fair in Germany too with more sunshine here. Scattered showers across Poland with sunny spells. A few showers in Austria too, but dry for Hungary and Switzerland.
Fine with plenty of sunshine in Denmark. Sunny spells too for the Baltic States. It should be dry with further spells of sunshine in Finland as well as Sweden. Similar weather in Norway, sunny and dry here.

Fine through Spain and Portugal on Friday. Scattered showers affecting the Balearics. Staying warm with scattered showers for Italy and Greece with long periods of sunshine. Hot in Turkey with further spells of sunshine.
Heavy and thundery showers in France and the Low Countries. The rain affecting western Germany too, as well as extending into Switzerland and Austria with a risk of flooding here. Eastern parts of Germany and Poland stay hot and dry with lots of sunshine, the heat continuing across Hungary too.
Some thundery rain in western Denmark. Eastern Denmark should be dry with sunny spells. Plenty of sunshine and warm weather continues to affect the Baltic States and Finland. More dry weather and sunny spells for Finland, staying fair for Norway too.
