Dry and very warm for Portugal and southern Spain. A little cooler for northern Spain. Thundery rain will affect Italy and the Balkan region, whilst much of the Mediterranean will be dry. Dry and hot for Greece and most of Turkey. High temperatures extend across eastern Europe, reaching 34 to 37C for Poland, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. Areas of heavy rain and thunder for Germany and the Czech Republic. Thundery too for the Alps. Dry and bright for France, temperatures around 20 to 25C, warmest in the south. Breezy with a little rain for southern areas of Sweden and Norway, but expect plenty of dry and sunny weather across Scandinavia, with high pressure centred toward the north. Warm in southern Sweden.

Scattered thunderstorms for eastern Spain, but much of Iberia will be dry and warm, particularly toward the south-west of Spain and Portugal. Italy will be brighter, with a good amount of sunshine. Fine too for Greece and Turkey. Fair weather across France, Belgium and the Netherlands, with temperatures between 19 and 22C in the north, nearer 26C in southern France. Scattered showers for Switzerland. Areas from Austria & the Czech Republic toward the Black Sea are likely to see periods of heavy rain. Rain also affects eastern Germany and Denmark. Very warm again in Poland. Breezy in the southern Baltic, and cloudy in western Norway, but most of Scandinavia stays dry, sunny and warm.
