Heavy squally showers for Spain

Today
A wet and windy day across Britain with an area of heavy rain extending down across France, The Low Countries. An unsettled, showery day to come across Portugal and Spain, many heavy. The showers will be quite heavy and squally across north west and south east Spain and across northern Portugal. Largely fine and dry across Italy, The Adriatic Region, Austria and the Czech Republic. A few showers to affect Slovenia, Bulgaria and Turkey but chiefly a dry day to come. Fine across the Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, The Baltic States, Poland and most of Germany. A cool but dry day with sunny spells across Norway, Sweden and Finland. Strong south west winds will prevail across Biscay, Iberia, France into the channel and Britain with gusts to gale force around the coasts.

Tuesday
It continues windy and unsettled across much of western Europe. Heavy showers to affect Britain, France, The Low Countries and Germany. Outbreaks of heavy rain are forecast for Denmark eastern parts of Germany and Across The Alps into Switzerland. Some heavy showers to come across parts of Italy today and quite warm in the south. Some heavy showers too around Corsica and Sardinia. A better day to come across Spain with showers in the west and across parts of Portugal. Some rain to come across Croatia and Austria. Fair and dry across much of the Balkans into western Turkey. A number of showers to come across eastern Turkey. Colder across Russia with snow showers in the north, dry in the south. Fair and dry across the Baltic States, Belarus and Poland with showers across the Ukraine. Rather cold across Norway, Sweden and Finland but fine and dry with sunny spells. Overnight temperatures will be below freezing across Scandinavia, northern Russia and the Baltic Region.
