Heavy rain in Greece and Turkey, showers central and northern Italy too


Thursday
Dry with sunny spells over much of Spain and Portugal. Scattered showers in the Balearics. Low pressure across southern Italy brings heavy rain here. Further heavy rain in Greece and Turkey.
Some cloud and a few spots of rai in northern France, but dry overall with sunny spells. Scattered showers in the Low Countries, with some cloud and rain passing through Germany. Poland should be dry with sunny spells. Further dry weather and some sunny spells in Hungary, Austria and Switzerland.
Showers rain and cloud in Denmark. Breezy and dry for the Baltic States, although strong winds and rain in Finland. Further cloud and rain across Sweden. More rain and some wind in Norway.

Friday
A fair day in Spain and Portugal on Friday. Dry too with further spells of sunshine in the balearics, and staying fine in northern Italy. Showers in southern Italy, and some very heavy showers, thunderstorms and rain for Greece and Turkey.
Fair for France with sunny spells, although there will be morning mist and fog patches. Dry with sunny spells through the Low Countries and Germany as well as Austria, Switzerland and Hungary. Mist and fog patches could be slow to clear though. Some rain in northern and eastern Poland, but dry west and south.
Fair for Denmark with plenty of sunshine. Showers in the Baltic States, but some rain for Finland. Dry with good spells of sunshine for Sweden. Scattered showers i the far west of Norway but dry to the east.
