Turning unsettled from west next week
Sunday
Plenty of dry weather across Europe on Sunday under the influence of high pressure. A few heavy showers may affect the far south of Portugal, perhaps an isolated shower for southern Spain. Settled weather across Italy and the Mediterranean, with light winds and sunshine. Dry for Greece, and much of Turkey, although Cyprus will see areas of heavy rain. A weak front lies across central Europe, producing widely overcast skies. Warm in southern France, around 21C, but cooler in north at 13C. Dry and partly cloudy for the Alps, Hungary and toward the Black Sea. A little patchy rain at first in northern Germany and Denmark, then moving east across Poland during the day. Blustery and cool across Scandinavia, with frequent showery rain in western Norway. Mainly dry in Sweden, but persistent rain for Finland.
Monday
Unsettled conditions developing for western Iberia, with pulses of heavy rain in Portugal and extending across western Spain. Some heavy rain spreads into the western Mediterranean, whilst Italy, the Balkans and Greece remain dry. Breezy for the Greek Islands and Turkey. Feeling mild at 20C across France, but risk of a little rain toward Brittany. Cloudy skies toward the Low Countries and northern Germany. Dry, but fairly cloudy weather extends across central and eastern Europe, with daytime temperatures 12 to 15C. Dry too for southern Scandinavia, with a little sunshine. Persistent rain affects western Norway. The Baltic region is cool, bright and breezy.
