Very warm for France
Saturday
Heavy rain moves into Portugal from the west in the early hours, gradually improving through the day, whilst rain spreads into western Spain. Warm and dry in eastern Spain and the Balearics. Thundery rain continues for the far south of Italy, also Sicily. Central and northern Italy, plus Alpine regions will be dry with a good amount of sunshine. One or two showers in southern Greece. It will be increasingly windy across the Aegean Sea into Turkey, although staying dry. Rather cool around the Black Sea. Another very warm day for France, with plenty of sunshine, highs 20 to 23C, warmest south-west. Mild and dry conditions continue for the Low Countries and Germany. Eastern Europe is a little cooler, at 12C in Poland and 15C in Hungary. High pressure remains a strong feature toward the east. The Baltic region is also dry and fairly mild, although some areas of cloud. Windy for Norway, and persistent rain in the north-west.
Sunday
Little change to the weather pattern across Europe. High pressure is a strong feature centred around the Black Sea. Low pressure brings strong winds to southern Spain, and an area of heavy rain and thunderstorms for Andalucia and much of Portugal. A few showers in eastern Spain. Breezy across the Mediterranean. Further thundery rain around southern Italy. Dry but remaining very windy for Greece, the Aegean Sea and Turkey. Dry weather extends widely across central Europe as a whole. Southerly winds keep things very mild in France, temperatures around 19 to 22C. Variable low cloud and stubborn fog patches may affect Germany and Poland. Low pressure north of Scandnavia brings mild south-westerly winds to Norway and Sweden. Rain affects the far north-west. The Baltic region stays dry but quite cloudy.
