Heavy showers for Spain
Today
Cold across eastern parts of Europe. Heavy showers and longer spells of rain are forecast for Portugal and Spain but drier across eastern parts of Spain. Rain may affect the far south of France and northern Germany with the south dry. Most of France, Britain, Belgium, Holland, Germany, The Czech Republic and Austria will be dry with sunny spells. Rain and snow is forecast across Poland with heavy rain across western parts of the Ukraine into Romania. Dry across Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland with a few coastal showers. A dry, cold day across The Baltic Region and western Russia with sunny spells. Fair and dry across the Adriatic and Greece with a number of showers across Turkey.

Pleasantly warm across Spain and eastward into Italy and Turkey. Eastern parts of Europe will remain quite cold with highs only into single figures dropping to below freezing overnight. Another unsettled day to come across Portugal and Spain with heavy showers. Rain us expected across the Balearics with a number of heavy showers across Italy. Outbreaks of heavy rain are forecast across Croatia and Hungary. Across Greece, Bosnia, Romania, The Ukraine and Russia it will be fair and dry. Showers are expected across Turkey. High pressure will keep it settled and dry across France, Britain, Belgium, Holland and most of Germany with sunny spells. Cloudy with light rain across Poland. Cold but expect a dry day with sunny spells for most of Finland, Sweden and Norway with showers around the coasts of Denmark.
