Showery rain for Spain and Portugal, most frequent in the north-west, where it will also be windy and feeling cool. Much warmer toward south-east Spain. Areas of thundery rain affect the western half of the Mediterranean, spreading toward western Italy. High pressure extends across the eastern half of Europe, bringing settled weather to the Balkans, Greece and also north across Hungary, Romania and Poland. Strong easterly winds affect Turkey. A few showers for Cyprus. Low pressure centred west of France brings persistent thundery rain to western areas, spreading north & east later. Southerly winds affect western Europe, bringing some very warm temperatures. Dry and mild for the Low Countries and Germany, with some hazy sunshine. Dry conditions across Scandinavia, although a chilly northerly wind affects Finland and the Baltic states.

Dry and warm for southern Spain and Portugal, but cooler, breezy and showery further north. Some thunderstorms continue across the western Mediterranean, also affecting western Italy. Bursts of heavy and thundery rain likely widespread across France, spreading to Belguim and Switzerland. High pressure centred to the north & east of Europe brings plenty of dry weather. Mild temperatures for Germany, the eastern Alps and also Poland, reaching 14 to 18C. Dry for Greece, but staying breezy in Turkey and the Greek Islands. A strong south-easterly wind affects Denmark and southern regions of Norway and Sweden, although dry weather extends widely across Scandinavia. A few snow showers in the far north.
