Dry and warm for southern Spain and Portugal, but cooler, breezy and showery further north. Some heavy rain and thunderstorms for southern France, the western Mediterranean, and extending east across Italy. Thundery bursts also spread to Switzerland, perhaps western Austria. Becoming drier for northern France after overnight rain. High pressure centred to the north & east of Europe brings plenty of dry weather. Mild temperatures for Germany, the eastern Alps and also Poland, reaching 14 to 18C. Dry for Greece, but breezy in Turkey and the Greek Islands. A strong south-easterly wind affects Denmark and southern regions of Norway and Sweden, although dry weather extends widely across Scandinavia. A few snow showers in the far north.

Much of Spain and Portugal stay dry and warm, although strong winds and rain affect the far north-west of Iberia. Low pressure over Italy brings bursts of heavy rain and thunderstorms, spreading across the Adriatic into the western Balkans. Dry and breezy for Greece and Turkey. Showery for Cyprus. Much of France will be dry and mild, slthough rain and a fresh breeze affects the far north-west. Dry weather extends across central Europe, with fairly mild temperatures around 16C. Partly cloudy for Germany and the Low Countries. High pressure continues to reside over eastern Europe and Scandinavia, bringing settled weather and mostly light winds.
