Mild again France & Germany
Tuesday
A lot of cloud across western Europe. Areas of rain affect Spain and Portugal, although quite hit and miss. Thundery rain spreads across the south-east of France, whilst a few heavy showers also threaten the Biscay coast. In any brighter spells in France, temperatures will reach 20C again. Northern France and the low countries mainly dry, but thickening cloud. Dry weather extends across central, east & south-eastern Europe, as high pressure remains in charge here. Risk of low cloud and fog, but a lot of sunshine overall for eastern countries. Pleasantly warm at 20C in Greece and Turkey. Italy also stays dry and warm. Much of Scandinavia is dry and mild, although Norway sees more cloud, and persistent rain in the north-west.
Wednesday
Staying unsettled for Portugal and western Spain, as thundery rain spreads from the west in the early hours, and moves slowly into central Iberia during the day. Drier and warmer for the eastern Costas. A few thunderstorms threat the Mediterranean islands. Much of Italy should stay dry, but scattered storms may spread into west. Dry weather continues for central, east & south-eastern Europe. Warm sunshine for Greece and Turkey. Showery rain affects northern France and the Low Countries, although southern France, the Alps and Germany stay dry and very mild, with broken cloud. Fair weather continues for much of Scandinavia. Cool and showery in the far north. Breezy for Finland.
