Wednesday
Low pressure affects northern Europe, whilst high pressure remains to the south. A dry and warm day across Spain and Portugal, highs topping 20C in the south, with a good amount of sunshine. Thicker cloud toward the north of Iberia. Plenty of dry weather across the Mediterranean, with sunshine for Italy, Greece and Turkey. Temperatures 17 to 19C. Largely dry for France, although cloudy in the north & west, where spots of rain or drizzle may drift in from Biscay. Windy in the north of France, plus the Low Countries, northern Germany and Denmark, although severe gales in the early hours will slowly ease. Rain spreads from eastern Germany to Poland, giving frequent squally bursts through the day. Dry for Alpine regions. Unsettled around the Baltic Sea, but quieter weather for Norway and much of Sweden, with just a few scattered showers.

Settled weather continues across southern Europe, with a good amount of warm sunshine for Spain and Portugal. Dry across the Mediterranean islands, also Italy, Greece, the Balkan region and Turkey. Temperatures around 17 to 20C. Patchy rain affects France, becoming persistent and heavy for Belgium and the Netherlands, spreading later into north-west Germany. Windy across northern-central Europe, temperatures around 11C in Germany. Squally showers for Poland and Denmark. A few showers for the Alps and Hungary, although largely dry here. Cool for Scandinavia, although temperatures near average at 3 to 5C. Showers for many coastal regions, but drier inland.
