Rain affects northern Spain, including snow over the mountains, particularly the Pyrenees. Much colder air reaches the north of Iberia, although the south of Spain and Portugal stay around 20C. Heavy and thundery rain moves south into the western Mediterranean, also Italy, accompanied by very strong and gusty winds. Blustery too for Greece, although largely dry. Some warm sunshine in Turkey. Heavy rain and mountain snow affects the Balkan states. Snowfalls too in the Alps. Chilly northerly winds and frequent showers affect France and the Low Countries. Germany is also cool at 6C, with occasional showers, some wintry. Cloudy and patchy rain for Poland. Some sunshine for Scandinavia, but it remains cold, and there will be areas of snow showers in the north. Windy for the Baltic states, also Finland, where there will be periods of snow.

Rain continues for north-western parts of Spain and Portugal, along with chilly northerly winds. A few showers for southern Spain and the Balearics, and also cooler than recently. Cool weather extends across much of central Europe, with areas of showers for France, the Alps and Italy, although well scattered. Showers for Belgium and the Netherlands, and feeling cold with winds off the North Sea. Cloudy, breezy and a few showers for Germany and Denmark. Low pressure over eastern Europe brings periods of rain to eastern Poland and Belarus. Periods of rain for the Balkans, and showers for Greece. Windy for the Greek Islands. Drier in Turkey. Cold across Scandinavia, but largely dry. Western Norway will see snow showers. Chilly winds around the Baltic coasts of Sweden and Finland.
