Low pressure affects the north and east of Europe, and high pressure is to the south-west. Dry and sunny weather for most of Spain and Portugal, and staying warm in the south-west, highs 20C. Some showers toward the Pyrenees. Windy across southern France, and squally winds will also affect central Europe as an active cold front advances from the north-west. Rain spreads across Germany, Denmark and Sweden, and gradually into western Poland. Some snowfall across the Alps. Frequent rain or mountain snow for western Norway. Scattered showers affect western France, although eastern and southern areas should brighten up. Dry with some sunshine for Italy and the Balkans. Showery rain for Greece should move away eastwards, giving heavy rain toward Turkey and the Black Sea, also Romania.

High pressure remains across south-west Europe, bringing further dry and fine weather to Spain and Portugal. Staying warm, but breezy around the Algarve. Gusty winds continue for southern France. Scattered showers affect southern Italy and the central Mediterranean. Largely dry for Greece. Patchy rain for the Balkan states, mainly southern areas. Blustery winds affect northern Europe, bringing outbreaks of rain and heavy showers to France, the Low Countries and Germany. Unsettled too across Scandinavia, with rain in the south and west of Norway and Sweden. Relatively mild with southerly winds across the Baltic states and Finland, highs around 7C. A front brings a mix of rain and snow to Belarus, Ukraine and western Russia.
