Sunday
Cloudy with some early rain for Northern Ireland and there will be a scattering of showers around the south west coasts and Irish Sea coasts. Otherwise it's a cold start with patchy frost and sunny skies. In the afternoon still a few showers around western coasts of Britain. For the bulk of the United kingdom it stays settled and dry with long sunny spells. Cloud does thicken up across Northern Ireland. Expect maximums of 5 to 10C north to south.
Sunday Night
Dry with clear spells but late this evening outbreaks of rain spill in across Northern Ireland and western coasts of Wales with a risk of a few heavy showers across Cornwall. Overnight rain will fall across the western half of Britain with eastern areas remaining dry with a touch of frost. Lows at lows of 2 to 3C in the east, 5 to 8C in the west.
Monday
A cloudy morning across western parts of England, Wales and western Scotland with some patchy, lightish rain. This tends to fade away by the afternoon as it brightens up. Eastern areas again look fair and dry with the best of the day's sunshine. A dry evening and night to follow with patchy frost in places. Highs at 5 to 9C.
Tuesday
With high pressure dominating all parts of the United Kingdom will be settled and dry with sunny spells and occasional cloud. There is a risk of some light rain and drizzle across the Northern Isles and the far north of Scotland. Overnight expect a frost through central and southern England. Highs at 7 to 10C.
Wednesday
Some locally dense fog patches are possible across central parts of the country this morning with frost. These will clear this morning otherwise it looks like another settled day for all parts of the United Kingdom with plenty of sunshine to be found. More cloud across East Anglia and south east England tonight. Mostly clear to the west wit a frost through central areas. Highs at 7 to 10C.
